Edwards Vacuum were launching an app – Edvac. This was aimed for connecting Edwards team to dealers and vice versa. This was their initiative to bridge any connectivity gaps, enable prompt and quick service to any issues of the dealer. It was a common platform to reach out and connect in just a click from anywhere. Client wanted to design a logo for this app – Edvac.
Designing a logo is always challenging. Logos have immense potential. They are the face of the brand and can drive consumers’ intrigue. With Edvac, we wanted the logo to reflect brand value, and to be a promising symbol of communication and trust for dealers. The logo was intended to enhance business and nourish growth
Contrary to the small (in size) deliverable, the process is largely tedious, requiring a lot of brainstorming, hand work, and creative thought. The client wanted to define perfection in business growth through the app. We chose to lead with this and included a tick mark and arrow sign in the design. A lot of raw sketches were filtered to make a collective of best logo samples. We presented them to the client and revised them as per their inputs, finally creating a stunning logo for Edvac.
Edvac logo delivered aptly to the client’s expectations. They loved the final result – the digital avatar to help connect and offer after sales service to dealers at their finger tips!
